LH-74 (W) for Canon EF 70-200mm f / 4 L USM ET-74 Replacement Print E-mail

JJC LH-74 (W)

This lens hood is frost-painted in an elegant matte vitgrå shade on the outside and matte black on the inside. Details, painting and marking, etc. is a very high quality of this protection and gives everything a very good impression. The vitgrå shade is specially designed to fit in nicely with the Canon white EF 70-200mm f / 4 L USM lens.

Here, one can say that a third-party add nothing to the original lacks. If you want the protection to match up with the lens, so is this lens hood is the right choice for you. That it also only costs half the original does not do this lens hood to slightly worse choice, absolutely not, quite the contrary.

Easy grip design

Trådutlösaren is very easy to grip and is firmly in hand. The push-button has a nice design and feels solid and well made. The surface of trådutlösaren, which is coated with a modified plastic, provides a comfortable and secure grip. The coating is reminiscent of the rubber is commonly used in the body to create a good grip.

Detachable cable

The cable between the camera and trådutlösaren, which is about 0.5 m, has contacts in both ends. This allows you to easily extend the cable if necessary.

Lid for white balancing Print E-mail

Lens cap for white balance with the catch cord

The lid of the white balance is very easy to operate. How can you practice to perform white balancing.

  • Tighten cap on your lens. If it is not going to put the lid in place, the first thread the mounting ring supplied.
  • Aim for what you intend to shoot.
  • Perform a white balance as described in the camera, no manual.
  • Remove the cap from the lens.

Now the white balance performed and it is only to photograph.

The lid is easy to use, easy to take away and fast to perform a white balance. Saves lots of time that would otherwise have to be on finishing of your images.

Why do you vitbalansera?

When the camera captures an image sensor, it tries to determine the color temperature of light have. This is to color reproduction is as good as possible. The idea is that white will be white and not blue or yellow.

This is not something specific to digital cameras. If you load a color movie in your analog camera, so you select the white balance as you have by selecting a film for daylight or indoor lighting. All films have an optimum color temperature at which the colors reproduce best. You can not convert the analog camera in any other way than by changing film or put a filter over the lens.

Digital cameras are able to adjust white balance and adjust to the current förhållenden. This can be done automatically, using default settings or with a manual white balance. Automatic white balance often works well, but under conditions of mixed light, eg light bulbs, fluorescent lighting and sunlight, the automatic setting may often struggle to adjust the color temperature correctly. A white balance cap will help you to very easily perform the manual white balancing before you take your pictures

The images below are taken with the same exposure times and aperture iris, only difference is that the right image has been adjusted the white balance using a white balance cap and the left image has had the camera white balance set to auto.

The lighting is a mixture of fluorescent, incandescent and flash.

Vänster Auto, Höger vitbalanserad med vitbalanslock

The caps come in all the common sizes 52, 55, 58, 62, 67, 72 and 77 mm.

Adapter for Olympus OM lenses for Canon EOS Print E-mail

EOS OM There are a variety of adapters that you should be able to use other makes of lenses on your camera. 4 / 3 system, Olympus, Panasonic and others and the Canon EOS is the system that accepts most foreign lens.

The fact that these kamero accept many different lenses depends on the mechanical conditions of these cameras, size bayonet and especially the distance from bildplöanet to the lens mount.

While the Sony / system Minolta receives some other brands. Nikon has with its longer distance between film plane and composure, and less bayonet fewer opportunities. It is above all the ability to focus at infinity as is suffering. This can be solved with an extra lens, and this adapter for M42 lens on Nikon is a good example.

Creative Photography has a large number of adapters in stock and this appears one of the later additions to an adapter for Olympus OM mount lenses on Canon EOS. There are a variety of adapters to mount Leica R , Hasselblad , M42 and others on the Canon EOS .

Flash Cables for TTL flash Print E-mail

JJC FC-E3

JJC FC-O3

JJC has developed cables for lightning which are driven by the TTL. They are of a quality fully comparable with the originals. The function corresponds to the original 100%, it is only performance that differ slightly. Fully extended length is about 1.4 m and about 1 m in the normal working length. Completely withdrawn, they are about 50 cm long.

By moving away from the camera flash so you will be with the red eye in portrait photography and has the ability to create a much more creative lighting.

Portrait and model images are much more vibrant if the flash can be moved away some distance from the camera. The images become more three-dimensional. No more flat and boring flash pictures.

If you shoot macro gives this cable you new opportunities to illuminate small subjects. Complete with a small tripod for example Klängstativ SLR / DSLR , so you have a good lighting for close-up and product photography.
